Description & Documents
NovaWrap House Wrap is a 100% nonwoven, non-perforated polypropylene fabric that provides the ideal ratio of water penetration versus moisture vapor transmission to the outside. Thus, it lets the structure breathe while preventing damage due to water infiltration. It does not absorb or retain water. This product is suitable for use on four-story commercial or residential buildings. NovaWrap is asphalt free, 100% recyclable and Class A fire resistant. It contributes to weathertightness and energy efficiency of buildings for the life of the structure. NovaWrap Building Wrap reduces water intrusion and installs over and protects plywood, OSB, gypsum, gypsum composite, rigid foam and other sheathing materials. This product can also be installed under brick, stone, stucco, EIFS, cement board, wood, vinyl, metal and composites. NovaWrap meets or exceeds applicable building codes for vapor retarders and can be left exposed for six months and is UV stable. This installer-friendly building wrap includes fabric marked fastener locations and fabric marked vertical and horizontal lap marks. NovaWrap Building Wrap stretches and forms to building details. The translucent fabric allows for easy location of studs and overlaps. This building wrap is lightweight for convenience with shipping, staging and installing. The tear- and puncture-resistant material saves on fasteners and creates less repairs and waste. NovaWrap is acceptable for use in the United States and Canada, and includes an industry competitive 15-year limited warranty.
