Pass & Seymour hospital grade GFCIs offer the superior durability and protection. They include the same features as our specification grade GFCIs, but with the hospital grade rating. One of our features includes Safelock™ Protection which denies power to the GFCI if the GFCI is miswired or if the GFCI is damaged and protection is lost. This prevents the unsafe condition of power without protection. It also prevents line-load reversal miswire - no power to the face or downstream receptacles if it is wired improperly. Our GFCI’s are also ¼" thinner than the competition, leaving more room for wires in the box. There are also two back wire holes per termination which add wiring flexibility, eliminates pigtailing and saves additional box space.
