How can I track my order?
To track special orders purchased at a Menards store or ordered on Menards.com, enter your order number into our Order Tracker. Your order number is located in the upper right-hand corner of your special order contract or order confirmation e-mail. It consists of four letters followed by eight numbers; you must enter the entire order number, including the four letters.
How can I have an item shipped to my local Menards store?
If an item can be shipped to a Menards store you will be given the option to Pick up at Store-Free! when the item is in your shopping cart. To ship the item to a Menards store, select the Pick up at Store-Free! option and choose a store. However, if this option is not listed under the Destination portion of the shopping cart, the item cannot be shipped to a store.
What are the shipping methods used for Menards orders?
The shipping methods offered include standard (3-10 business days), two-day express (2-3 business days) and overnight (1 business day). Not all shipping methods are available for all products. Orders placed with overnight shipping will be shipped as quickly as possible. Orders placed late in the day, after business hours, may be delayed and not shipped until the next morning.
Large package orders will be delivered via LTL shipping. Deliveries will be scheduled within a 4 hour window between 8AM and 5PM. Guests will receive a phone call, with an estimated time of arrival, from the driver within one hour of delivery. Upon arrival, the driver will unload the items and place them inside the first floor doorway, garage or covered area of the Guest's choice. Unpacking, room placement, packaging removal and assembly are not included or offered.
What are the shipping destination options?
Your preferred shipping destination is where you would like your order delivered to, such as a street address or a local Menards store.
Ship to Guest: Have your order shipped directly to your desired street address. We only ship to U.S street addresses; we will not ship to P.O boxes.
Ship to Store: Select products can be shipped to a Menards store for free and qualifying items state "Ship to Store - Free!". This shipping service is not available for all products and does not include delivery to your home from the Menards store.
Pickup at Store: Qualifying items on Menards.com may have the option to Buy Online and Pick up in Store. You will be emailed a confirmation once your order has been processed at the store and is ready for you to pick up.
Where can I find the shipping cost for an item?
The shipping cost for your order can be found on the shopping cart page near the top, under Shopping Cart Summary and at the bottom, under Shipping Totals. You may have to enter your shipping address into the Shipping Totals section for a more accurate shipping rate. Entering your address does not require you to place the order.
What are additional fees or costs I should be aware of?
In some cases, certain items may require an additional processing fee. This is a small fee that covers packaging and handling of your order. This will be reflected in your total when you check out.
How do I view and print my online order confirmation?
After you complete the order process, on the order confirmation page there is a View Printer Friendly link that allows you to view and print your online order confirmation for your records. This link is located on the left side of the page under the transaction ID, register number and date.
What do I do if I receive a damaged item?
If your item arrives damaged, please contact our Online Guest Service Representatives within three days of receiving the item. We will assist you in returning the damaged item and providing a replacement.
When will I receive my Menards.com order?
You can expect to receive your items one to two weeks after you place your order; however some items may take longer to arrive. We ask that you please take into account processing and shipping time when you place your order. Please view our Shipping Information page for more details.
What are the processing and shipping steps for online orders?
1. You purchase an order online using one of our accepted methods of payment: the Menards BIG Card, Menards Contractor Card, Menards Commercial Card, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Debit Cards (when used as a credit card).
2. Your order appears as "On Order" meaning it is being processed by our warehouse for shipment.
3. Your order appears as "Ready to Ship" and is processed and ready for shipping.
4. From here the item is "In Transit" either to a store, if you chose "Ship to Store" or to your home for delivery.
5. The final steps include arrival at the store for pickup or delivery to your home depending on whether you had it shipped to the store or your home.

When will I be billed for my Menards.com order?
You are billed for your Menards.com order the day you place your order. Once you have received an order confirmation e-mail your card has been charged.
How long does it take to process a "Pick up at Store" order?
Menards has no set or guaranteed amount of time that pulling and processing your order will take. We do assure you that your order will be pulled shortly after your order is made and you will be notified via email when your order is available for pick-up.
When will my "Pick up at Store" order be available?
Pick up at Store orders are available only during normal store hours. If your order is placed when the store is closed or is about to close your order may not be processed until the next day. The automated follow up email notification letting you know your order has been fully processed will let you know that your order is ready to be picked up.
How many days do I have to pick up my order?
You have 14 days to pick up your order. If you do not pick up your order within 14 days your order will be cancelled and your account will be refunded with the exception of a 10% storage and handling fee.
What do I need to bring with me to pick up my order?
1. Your order confirmation and pickup slip email
2. Identification (e.g. driver's license)
Where do I pick up my order?
For smaller items you can go right into the store and pick your order up at the specialized Menards.com and Special Order pickup location. For larger items, you may also drive into the yard (if available at your local store) and load your order there. Remember to bring your pickup slip from your order confirmation with you.
Can everything purchased online be picked up at the store?
No. Some items currently do not offer the option to buy online and pick them up at the store. This will be signified on the product detail page.
Is there a fee involved for "Pick up at Store" orders?
Yes there is a processing fee. The "Pick up at Store" option is a convenient service we provide that allows you to breeze through your day without missing out on our sales. This fee covers the cost of our Menards team member who will personally go into the store, select your items, prepare them for pickup and notify you when your order is ready to be picked up.
What if I do not pick up my order?
Due to limited storage space we can only hold your Pick up at Store order for up to 14 days. After 14 days the product(s) will be returned to the store's sales floor and your account will be credited back your purchase amount less 10% storage and handling fee.
Who can I contact if I have questions about my Menards.com order?
You may contact our Online Guest Service Representatives if you have questions about your Menards.com order or about the website in general. When contacting us please include your full order number, with the four letters before the eight numbers, the full name the order was placed under and a detailed description of the issue or situation.
How can I cancel or modify my order?
To cancel or modify your order please contact our Online Guest Service Representatives with your request. However, we cannot guarantee that your request to modify or cancel your Menards.com order will be granted.
How can I order tax exempt on Menards.com?
To order tax exempt on Menards.com you will first need a Menards Tax ID. You can apply for a Menards Tax ID online by filling out a Menards Tax Exempt Registration Form. You will also need to create a Menards.com shopping account to order tax exempt online.
Once you have created an account, log in, click on the Tax Exempt Request link and fill out the application. After you submit the application, your information will be verified and when the process is completed you will receive an e-mail confirmation allowing you order tax exempt on Menards.com.
Can I have my order delivered from a Menards store to my home?
If you chose to have your Menards.com order shipped to a store and you would like it delivered from the store to your home, you may do so for an additional fee. You will need to contact the store's Delivery Coordinator to setup a delivery. Please use our Store Locator to find contact information for specific stores.
Do you accept Menards Gift Cards or Merchandise Credit Checks online?
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept Menards Gift Cards or Merchandise Credit Checks as a valid form of payment for an online order.
What forms of payment are accepted on Menards.com?
Menards.com accepts the Menards BIG Card, Menards Contractor Card, Menards Commercial Card, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Debit Cards (when used as a credit card). We do not accept checks, cash or money orders.
How do I know if an item on your website is stocked at my local Menards store?
If an item is stocked at your selected Menards store it will say In-Stock on the product select page and product detail page. You can check other stores to see if they stock the item, but you will need to contact the store for the current availability. Use our Store Locator to find contact information for specific stores.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to ship orders internationally.
How can I be sure about the color or texture of an item before I place an order on Menards.com?
Due to color and texture variances among different monitor display settings, Menards.com cannot guarantee that the color or textures of images that appear on your screen are exact. If the color or texture of the product you intend to purchase is important, swatches of select items are available for order. Otherwise, you may enlarge the image on the detail page so you can get a better idea of the design and colors.
How can I register my Extended Protection Plan or Water Heater Plan/Repair Plan?
If you purchased an Extended Protection Plan or a Repair Plan/Water Heater Plan at a Menards store you may register your plan online by completing the appropriate form or you can register by calling 866-505-4795. Please have your receipt ready when you register your plan and you must retain a copy of your receipt to file a claim.
Do you accept coupons online?
Unfortunately, we do not accept coupons online. However, our stores will accept various coupons for items that are sold in our stores. Please view our Coupon Policy for more details.
Why should I add concealed wrapping to my order?
Add weather-resistant black concealment wrapping to your order for $5. Standard shipping may reveal the retail packaging making this service ideal for the gift-giving season to both conceal and protect your purchase for the ultimate surprise on the big day! In the event of a return the black concealment wrapping is a non-refundable service.
