QCA Spas are built to withstand harsh, northern winters. Our system incorporates a polystyrene foam-insulated cabinet and a thick layer of Dura-Bond foam applied to the shell. Polar Insulation will triple your insulation by adding another layer of polystyrene foam and a heat reflective thermo insulating blanket to the inside of the cabinet, thereby sealing the cabinet from any outside air infiltration. As a bonus of this excellence in insulation techniques, the ambient air trapped between the two layers provides an insulating barrier to help maintain spa water temperature.
- The foam is set in place inside the PVC cellular vinyl spa cabinet, which is 62% more energy efficient than wood, moisture proof and rot resistant.
- The bottom of the spa is sealed with a moisture proof material to further protect and insulate
- Strongly recommended for climates with harsh winters where temperatures reach 0 degrees F
