This compressor is a decent value but the construction of it seems sub-par (although it is a tool shop so I guess that's to be expected). The problem came about 1 year after I started using it. I turned the screw underneath the unit to bleed the air out after using it and the cap snapped right off. It was only finger tightened and it was the middle of summer so no cold issues and it just broke off in my hand. Now I have to set the unit on a chunk of 2x4 with a rubber strap under the bleeder to stop the tank from losing compression while I use it and it can't sustain very high pressure. As far as I know it can't just be replaced with a new screw, so I guess, I'm screwed for now. Would've been a nice little unit without this deficiency.
